in the past two years, i’ve planned and executed events for het rotterdam collectief (roco), the best coworking space in rotterdam. from karaoke nights to fundraisers, every event helped strengthen the community. alongside event planning, i designed unique posters for each occasion – keeping my creative skills sharp and making every event feel special.
roco has no bosses – just peers working together. organizing events is a group effort, but for the past years I’ve been one of the key players in planning and executing them. we’ve put together a wide variety of events: afterwork drinks, movie nights, communal dinners, karaoke parties, fundraisers, and even a tiny desk concert.
the events aren’t about making a profit. they’re about creating good times and building connections. they also help new members feel welcome and bring in fresh faces.

posters
i’ve designed posters for all the events in the last years. it’s been a fun way to keep my design skills sharp. i don’t stick to one style – each event calls for something different. the posters make the events look polished and help grab the attention needed to get people out of their houses.
if there’s one thing i’ve learned, it’s how to highlight the essentials. each design is simple but effective. it reflects my ability to prioritize and keep things clear.

takeaways
community builds connection: events at roco aren’t just gatherings – they’re how the space grows and thrives.
design matters: a great poster isn’t just art; it’s a tool that brings people together.
versatility is key: each project was an opportunity to explore new creative approaches.
good design makes a difference. whether you need posters, branding, or marketing materials, let’s make your next project look sharp together.
